Ben Gregg is the Sophomore you don’t know about but will know about. He discusses his recruitment and recent Pac-12 visits.

Ben Gregg is currently listen at 6-foot-9 and 205 pounds. He describes himself as: “I’m a small forward who can shoot the ball, post up if need be, and sees the floor pretty well, and a good rebounder.”

His recruitment hasn’t quite taken off yet, but the intriguing prospect out of Columbia Christians in Oregon has landed some notable offers including Texas and Oregon State.

“Yeah, Texas offered me over the phone on Halloween, and I’ve called them every week since then, and they came up for a game of mine the other week.”

“I was on an unofficial visit at Oregon State when they offered me. My dad has known coach tinkle for awhile, so our family has a pretty good relationship with him.”

While on the topic of Texas, Gregg says that this summer when eligible to begin taking official visits, that Texas will land one.

As for other schools currently recruiting him the list is decent, but expect it to grow: Gonzaga, Pepperdine, Washington, Texas Tech, Oregon, USC, and both Arizona State and Arizona.

For two of these team’s listed, Arizona State and Arizona, Gregg recently took unofficial visits to both schools.

“I just got back from visiting Arizona and Arizona State. Both went great, was a big fan of both schools, and got to see Arizona State beat Kansas which was a great experience. Got to talk with both Sean Miller and Bobby Hurley which was very cool for my family and I.”

Here’s some game film on the intriguing small forward:
