Fast rising 2019 prospect Adriel Linares talks recrutiment and impact on the court.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2019 prospect Adriel Linares is a very talented 6-9 185 power forward with great athleticism and underrated all-around game. He plays for Sunnybrook Christian Academy he is an elite defender with great court vision and he is a handful to guard in the open court they call him Bonez. His athleticism has been on full display being known as a powerful dunker forcing some to make business decisions before challenging his rise to the rim. I talked to Linares about his recruitment for stock risers.

LJ: You have a unique skill set. What about how you play allows you to make the most impact?

Adriel: I think my speed, quickness, ball handling, court vision, finishing ability, and defensive presence make an impact on both ends.

LJ: What were your stats last game?

Adriel: 12 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and 5 blocks.

LJ: You are a very underrated prospect. Do you play with a chip on your shoulder each game?

Adriel: I play my hardest every game, and always put the team first before myself.

LJ: What schools have reached out to you the most? What have programs said about you?

Adriel: there’s a good amount of schools and they are all great options, they say they like my skillset and want to help me develop as time goes on.

LJ: What is Sunnybrook Christian Academy’s record so far this season?

Adriel: We have won 13 games and lost 7

LJ: Who do you play for in AAU ball? What were your stats in AAU?

Adriel: I played for Brook Supreme. I averaged 5-6 blocks a game, double digit points, 3-4 assists, and 1-2 steals.

LJ: Do you have any dream offers?

Adriel: I’ve always dreamt of getting an offer period.

LJ: What offers do you have now?

Adriel: UIW, UT Tyler, ORU, and UNC Charlotte.

LJ: What schools have reached out recently?

Adriel: Clemson, East Washington, Southern Nazarene, Louisiana Monroe, West Texas A&M.

LJ: What type of impact do you bring to a program?

Adriel: I bring intense defensive pressure, and good team play.
