Guerrier still awaiting word from the NCAA.

Syracuse picked up a huge commitment two months ago from Canadian star Quincy Guerrier.

The 6-8 forward picked the Orange over Oregon and Illinois. Since he’s from Canada he’s not included in any of the rankings due to the fact that outlets haven’t seen enough and don’t rank Canadian players.

I’ve been told if he was currently playing here for any prep school he’d be a top-50 prospect without a doubt. When he committed to the Orange it was known that he would be a early enrollee, but the problem now is that the NCAA has yet to make a ruling on whether he can be an early entry.

“I’m still waiting to hear from the NCAA,” Guerrier told Stockrisers.

He’s been waiting, said if he heard from them this month he’d probably be enrolled already but many expect him now to enroll in January.

Guerrier won’t play for the Orange this season but would like to start his development under a talented college staff at Syracuse.
