One of the top forwards in the country is only a Sophomore. He’s dominated so far this season, putting up nearly a double-double a game. He holds offers from Arizona State, UConn, Florida, Ole Miss, Cal, among others.
“When it comes to my game I can really shoot, I love to shoot and make my teammates better. I think I can play both the 3 or 4 because I can put the ball on the floor, shoot the three ball, and score inside. I’ve been getting a lot stronger as well so that’s helped me inside,” Thor told Stockrisers.
We spoke to Thor about his recruitment, here’s what he had to say.
JW: What schools are on you the hardest currently?
Thor: “Right now I can’t really talk to the schools because I’m a sophomore but according to my older brother and my high school coach Arizona State calls all the time, Western Kentucky is in the gym a ton, Cal, Michigan, Ole Miss, Louisville, and Florida are all consistently calling and coming in. Today one of the Kentucky assistants came for the first time so that had me excited. I haven’t really looked into any program or coaches so not really sure.”
JW: What does Kentucky coming in mean to you?
Thor: “It means that I’m being looked at by the best.”
