What a week it’s been for Mark Few and the Zags. Grab five-star Drew Timme who’s “super excited to get to work,” and now Montverde’s Paval Zahkarov who’s been playing really well for MVA.
The 6-10 big with a 7-1 wingspan, an 8-10.5 standing reach, and impressive athleticism has become an intriguing prospect. He’s been announced as a 2020 prospect but as Stockrisers has learned he committed to Gonzaga, signed an NLI, and will join Mark Few’s 2019 class which should now move into the top-5.
While things have been going well for Mark Few they will continue to get better. Oumar Ballo, aka Baby Shaq, has reportedly gained traction to join the Zag’s, sources told Stockrisers. Ballo is more of an under the radar prospect.
Ballo, just 16-years-old, is a 6-10 big who weighs around 210lbs. He dominated the FIBA U17’s, averaged over 20.6PPG and 16.9RPG.
He could commit come springtime, there hasn’t been an official timetable but from what I’ve been told they’ve gained traction and it could be done soon.
