2021 prospect John Camden holds five offers, two of them are ACC schools. He talks about recruitment, his game.

Even if John Camden is battling a minor injury (knee), nothing is stopping him from working on his body and other facets of his game. The 6-7 wing of Westtown School (PA), holds offers from Miami, Syracuse, Xavier, Penn State, and Temple.

“I’ve always been a knockdown shooter and a guard. I can guard multiple positions and I’m a good rebounder. I’ve always been good at getting my teammates involved and creating plays. I’ve been working on moves off the dribble and my mid-range game, and this year I want to attack the basket and get to the rim as much as possible,” Camden said.

His rankings definitely don’t show the kind of player he is. Competing with Team Final, one of the top-2021 team’s in the country, Camden doesn’t get enough schools looking at him but that will change.

It didn’t take long for Jim Larranaga and Jim Boeheim to extend an offer to Camden. Both Miami and Syracuse, two ACC schools, extended offers to Camden on back-to-back days.

“I think they see potential in me. I am a 6-7 shooter that can handle the ball, rebound, and hustle. I’m a good teammate and like I said I create plays for those around me. It’s an honor to be recognized by any school that wants to recruit me. They’ve told my coaches that they like my game and think I could fit into their systems well, among other things.”

As for visits Camden has none planned but recently he visited Villanova and Penn State. One of those two [Penn State] is where his sister Anna, will suit up next season.
