After an outstanding summer with Team Final, 2022 prospect Justice Williams made his case to be regarded as one of the top prospects in his class. The 6-3 guard will begin his high school career this month as he will suit up for Roman Catholic where he’s expected to play a big role as a freshman on a really talented team.
At the beginning of October, he was one of a handful 2022 prospects to be invited to USA Basketball mini-camp.
“USA [camp] was a great experience. Me being one of the youngest there it was good because I was able to take in tips from the coaches, but also compete and learn from the older players,” Williams said.
“I was able to take and learn things from older guards such as Sharife Cooper, but The things that I learned about most was off the court, such as taking care of your body and how my future experiences will be with USA Basketball.”
As for his recruitment schools like Maryland, Pittsburgh, Iona, Marquette, among others have been on him. He does hold an offer from local Penn State as well as Villanova who has been at open gyms on several occasions over the past few weeks to see Williams.
As for visits, due to his class, he can attend games [football or basketball] and have them considered as visits. “Maryland for sure. But Villanova and Marquette are working on getting me up there.”
