Jaelyn Withers cuts list to five, one official visit planned.

2019 four-star prospect Jaelyn Withers is coming off an excellent school year where we all witnessed his stock boom. The 6-9, 220-pound forward picked up offers from Virginia, Texas, Louisville, among others this season. Although picking up all of these high-major offers not all can make his final list.

Withers has narrowed his list to five and he broke it down with Jake Weingarten of Stockrisers.

Louisville- Main Recruiter(s): Chris Mack, Mike Pegues

Thoughts: They’ve been consistent with communication, and showing up at the games. I’ll take an official there with Josh Nickelberry (’19 Louisville commit) in two weeks. The campus is great and the vibe of the school is overall great. Could potentially start at the 3/4 as a frosh.

Texas- Main Recruiter(s): Shaka Smart, Cody Hatt

Thoughts: They believe I can come in as a freshman and play volume minutes as a freshman. One of my favorite NBA players went there and I see myself making the same impact and then some.

Arizona- Main Recruiter: Justin Gainey

Thoughts: They have a great program and I like their playing style a lot. They’re an elite team in the Pac 12.

Florida- Main Recruiter(s): Mike White, Darris Nichols

Thoughts: Their strength and training coach trained my dad while he was at UNCC so I know that they will develop me physically and coach White has a fast and free playing style to the way he coaches which is something I think I’d fit great in.

Texas A&M- Main Recruiter: Ulric Maligi

Thoughts: Coach Ulric and Coach Kennedy think that I’d be a very versatile player because of my skill and agility at my size I’d be able to play the 2 through 4.
