It didn’t take long for Olive Branch SF D.J. Jeffries to hit the high-major recruiting scene. The rising junior picked up offers from Wake Forest, Kansas, Iowa State, and many others when he went on notice last year.
One year later and Jeffries has received interest from many of the top schools in the nation including USC, Kentucky (offered), and UNC.
Jeffries caught up with Stock Risers to talk about the schools on him the hardest and some possibilities for future visits.
Kentucky: “I have a good relationship with their staff. I feel really comfortable with them — and the visit was lit, the atmosphere was crazy”
Kansas: “My relationship with the coaching staff has definitely improved — it’s great”
Jeffries also added the high interest from Florida, Alabama, Ole Miss, and LSU.
Jeffries has nothing scheduled but says he wants to and plans to visit LSU and Kansas.
He also added Ohio State has been in contact with him a lot, but no offer has come up yet.
Also plans to cut list sometime this summer.
