Zach Harvey talks recent visits, recruitment, injury

Hayden’s Junior guard Zach Harvey has been one of the nations top players and his stock has risen significantly.

Harvey has been battling a sprained ankle thru the first few weeks of his junior season — but through that Harvey has helped his team to a 2-1 record including a big 33-point outing in a win over Seaman High School.

“I don’t think I’m used to it, just think I’m battling through it,” Harvey told StockRisers.com

Harvey has picked up offers from Kansas, Iowa, Nebraska, Wake Forest, among others. He also recently picked up offers from Oklahoma and Ohio State.

We spoke with Harvey about some of the schools that are on him the hardest

Oklahoma: I had a great time visiting. I liked the location, great coaching staff, and a family feeling seemed to be the center of the program which I loved about it.

Creighton: They were the first school to recruit me and I value that greatly. They have been recruiting me hard ever since freshman year. They have an amazing coaching staff and I have a good friend Mitch Ballock that goes there now and he’s told me a lot of great things about the University.

We also asked Harvey about his relationship with Oklahoma commit — 2019’s De’vion Harmon:

“Me and De’vion have been really close friends since we were In 3rd grade and we just grew up around each other a lot and we used to play together for together for awhile and it would be really cool to team up with him again.”

Harvey said he will cut list most likely after all the recruiting periods this spring and summer.
